I shall write this using liberal progressive logic.
Emma Morano is currently the world’s oldest person at 116 years of age. 117 next month. When asked how she’s lived this long, she told the AFP news agency,” I eat two eggs every day, and that’s it. And cookies. But I don’t eat much because I have no teeth.”
Emma’s current doctor says she’s eaten two raw eggs in the morning and an omelette at noon for the last 90 years. That’s about 100,000 eggs.
Eggs used to be a no-no due to their high cholesterol content, but thinking in the dietary community has been revised. The current recommendation is one egg per day (or 7 whole eggs per week) for healthy individuals. But just to be safe, it is advised to have your LDL and HDL (as well as your total cholesterol and triglycerides) checked every three months.
Just think how old Emma could be today if she is wise enough to follow the U.S. government’s simple recommendations.
