It is said that a person’s eyes are the windows to their soul. With that thought in mind, I decided to look more closely into the eyes of some politicians as they spoke on TV to see what I could see. The results (in no particular order) follow:
Dr. Benjamin “Ben” Solomon Carson, Sr. : First of all, I see arrogant frustration. I also see anger. (This fits his description of his emotions as a younger man willing to assault others.) There is kindness in there, too.
William “Bill” Jefferson Clinton: Simple…a stripper pole.
John Forbes Kerry: I see the darting eyes of someone trying to figure out which f***ing microphone is live.
Hillary Rodham Clinton: If one looks deeply into her eyes, past the glare, one can clearly make out the sign, ” Welcome to Leavenworth, Kansas. Population: 35,252″.
Paul Davis Ryan: His eyes show the confusion of a lost person who cannot figure out how to read his Thomas Brothers roadmap.
Nancy Patricia D’Alesandro Pelosi: I see the manic, crazed fear of a hydrophobic lycanthrope.
Donald John Trump: Depending upon when I look into “The Donald’s” eyes, I see either Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam or Ralph Kramden.
John Richard Kasich: He has the sad eyes of a man unable to spit out the lemon wedge stuck in his cheek.
Elizabeth Ann Warren: Her eyes display the pleasure of one who’s remained incognito since their escape from area 51.
Bernard “Bernie” Sanders: I see the honesty and kindness of an older guy who is several bagels short of a dozen.
Barack Hussein Obama: I see a naked emperor on an extended ego trip with no luggage
Deborah “Debbie” Wasserman Shultz: I see nothing. I see dead eyes. Like a doll’s eyes. When she looks at ya’, she doesn’t seem to be livin’………..until she says somethin’. And then those black eyes roll over, white………. And then, ah…then you hear that terrible high pitched screamin'”………………………………………………………………………..
The eyes have it, huh?
Agreed, that eyes can be very revealing, and can tell us a lot.
Here is a study of Mona Lisa’s eyes, and why they are so mysterious.

I read the link you sent. Interesting. How would fine art lovers have perceived Mona Lisa had her eyes been crossed? I’m just curious.
